I would like to tell you about the Google Project Management course that I recently experienced and completed.
Developed and presented by experienced Google Program Managers, I can say that this Project Management training, consisting of 6 courses, is at a master’s degree level.
Google instructors have designed this extensive course content of over 140 hours to be completed in 6 months.
The fact that the instructors are also experienced Google employees has ensured the high quality of the training. Additionally, the Coursera infrastructure, mandatory assignments, and the inclusion of real-world concepts and methods like Agile, Scrum, QA, and QC have further enhanced the quality of the course.
I recommend this training, which not only provides theoretical knowledge about project management but also imparts practical skills.
This course is available in both English and Turkish versions. In the Turkish version, documents are in Turkish and videos have Turkish subtitles. If you take the original course, I believe it can also contribute to improving your English proficiency.
Since this training is approved by the Project Management Institute, it can be seen as a big and strong step toward obtaining certifications like PMP and CAPM.
Some of the skills that the program will help you acquire include: creating risk management plans; understanding techniques for process improvement; managing tensions, team dynamics, and stakeholders; creating budgets and guiding procurement; using project management software, tools, and templates; applying Agile project management with an emphasis on Scrum.
